Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, friends and supporters of the Izmail Life Care Center.

This year the Life Care Center will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its ministry. The time went so fast that we were kind of surprised when realized that. Maybe later I will write you about our achievements in this period of time, but this letter is devoted to the last year of our work.

In the year 2012 the LCC was able to assist 750 people with different types of help, including one on one and group counseling, support groups, clothes exchange, different classes and holiday events.

38 families went through the 2 months course in School for Moms and 24 of them got the main reword – baby crib.

Ten volunteers from Pentecostal, Russian Orthodox, Baptist, Charismatic and Presbyterian churches helped us in different ways. Some taught abstinence classes in local schools, some counseled women, some taught classes in School for moms, some translated materials for our web-site and some helped about the office.  We could use the billboard of one of our volunteers for free for the advertisement of Life Care Center and for providing pro-life information to the city.

The volunteers of the LCC wrote three more curriculums for the students of high schools which we were able to successfully implement this past year.
We started the reading class for the former clients of the LCC and together we read two Christian books and discussed them.

6 students of local universities went through translational practice in the Life Care Center and translated 6 out of 12 lessons of the new abstinence curriculum “Why Know”. We are planning to use these lessons in our future with students of schools and universities.
Last year the Presbyterian Church which we belong to blessed us with successful involvement in our ministry. Together with its church members we started a Sunday school for children of our former clients, celebrated Easter and Christmas together, went on picnics and helped the local orphanage with medicine and clothes.

God blessed me and my family with a two months trip to US in October, November. With the help of devoted to LCC’s ministry friends Art and Sharon Scott we were able to travel to different parts of the US where we met old friends and new people who we could share about the ministry of the Life Care Center. We pray that God will give the desire to some of them to become partners with us. It was really good to meet the people who we know who pray for us and support in different ways.

I would like to thank you the members of St.Andrew’s Presbyterian Church for a lot of baby clothes they faithfully supply us with. They had a Baby Shower for the LCC and a week ago we got two boxes with baby clothes we would be able to use in our work.
The trip to US was a revelation to me about the fact that so many people are praying for our ministry here in Izmail Ukraine. I thank God that He gives you all such a great desire.
Thank you to all friends for their hospitality who shared their homes, food, cars and their hearts with us.

The New Year has started and I look forward to the work God has prepared ahead of us.  The volunteers of the Life Care Center pray for you on regular basis and we always ask God to bless you.
