Memorable gifts to graduates of School for Moms

On Thursday School for Moms celebrated the graduation.

We traditionally painted joy trees, remembered memorable moments, were treated to fruits and awarded prizes. From this day we have introduced a new tradition: now each graduate will receive a special hand-made coverlet as a gift. They were lovingly made and presented to the Center by women from the Emanuel Presbyterian Church in Cedar Park, Texas. A verse from Psalm 126: 3 is embroidered on each bedspread:

“This is the inheritance of the Lord: the children; the reward from Him is the fruit of the womb. "
