Dreams and life goals

On December 3, 2015 the representative of Izmail Life Care Center met for the fourth time with the teenagers who are on probation of local police. 6 people were present. This time the conversation was about the importance of life purposes. Robert Burnham who has been helping Life Care for 10 years came from Odessa to teach. He is the one who gives a free photo session to the pregnant moms, students of School for moms at the LCC. He is also a great teacher and speaker as well as a member of Committee of Trustees of Izmail Life Care Center.

Bob used an illustration of marathon as an example of how important it is to still run to be able to accomplish the purpose in life. He himself ran marathons more than once and know how hard it is but possible. Using this illustration he tried to tell the teens that once you have a purpose in your life it is necessary to keep running in spite of the hindrances which may appear in life. For you it could be alcohol, drugs, bad company or even crime. Sometimes it is not breaking the judicial law but moral. Bob encouraged teenager to keep running or to go back to the track if they lost it for some time, look at the goal and finish the run successfully.

We also hope that those who never thought about life purposes will think about them after this discussion and those who do will successfully fulfill them and reach their dreams in life.
