Art and Sharon Scott meet with young parents of the Life Care Center

Two Sundays in May 2012 Art and Sharon Scott, the guests and board members of Izmail Life Care Center met with former clients of the LCC whose children are already 4-6 years old. While the children were studying the spiritual truths about Creator and creation, the young parents could get answers from more experienced parents. Art and Sharon have 4 successful adult children and 11 grandchildren. Art is a pastor; Sharon is a teacher by profession and mother by occupation.

The questions about discipline, different aspects of raising children including spiritual have been asked. The parents draw a conclusion that the churches and Sunday schools can help them but the main responsibility is upon them, the parents and that is why they need to know which eternal values they have themselves and how they can give those to their children in words and deeds.

Sharon shared how it is important for children to be safe and significant and how to help children to feel this way during different stages of their childhood and youth.
